The Committee to Elect Selvig has hired its second staffer for the 2009 cycle, Field Director Peter Panos of Walpole. Peter is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and served as Field Director of Sara Orozco's 2008 bid for the Massachusetts State Senate in the Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex district. Peter has also worked for the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

The Committee to Elect Selvig has hired its first staffer of the 2009 cycle, David Sokolove of Allston. Previously, David served as the Operations Director for the Committee to Elect Patrick McCabe in Medford and worked as a staffer at MassEquality. He also has experience organizing Boston University students for the Deval Patrick, Tim Schofield and Barack Obama campaigns.

Alex Selvig, local small business owner, community activist and Lake Street resident, has turned in signature papers to the Boston Elections Department making him an official candidate for the Boston City Council in District 9! (Allston-Brighton)
